andre mellone is a brazilian interior designer based in new york. an architect by training he is a 25-year veteran of the city’s design community. Andre worked for robert a. m. stern, mark hampton, greg jordan, ferguson&Shamamian and sawyer/berson prior to establishing studio mellone in 2012. the studio’s work primarily focuses on the interior design of private residences, while developing a complementary portfolio of retail, commercial and product design projects. residential commissions include homes in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Jackson Hole and Baltimore with additional projects in brazil, england, portugal and Switzerland. the expanding retail client list includes thom Browne, Jason wu, Carolina Herrera, the row and the 1916 company. studio mellone has also helmed the renovation and decoration of the lobbies at 50 and 45 Rockefeller Plaza located in New York’s iconic Rockefeller center.
